Dr Manmohan Singh was not only acclaimed and revered by India but also by world because of his inspiring contributions in various departments of life. His death marked the countrywide mourn. India has announced seven days mourn and state based funeral for the person who lead the foundation of economic growth of India and government dedicated this day ” as a mark of the respect for him on his death”.
Former premier was hailed because of his commendable contributions in important departments of India under the crucial and chaotic times of world. He has liberated India from many severe economic jolts which affected the entire world. Because of his effective policies and services he was rewarded with various awards and recognitions for his economic fruitful services.
In 1992, during economic depression when all powerful economies were crippling and collapsing he rescued the Indian economy from major setbacks and managed to continue the wheels despite catastrophic financial situations. Simultaneously, he also gave instructions to the world bank and various international organizations about foreseen economic difficulties and depression and advised them to cater strong measures against it. For this he even received many remarkable awards at international levels.
Humble Beginnings:
Born in 1932 in the muddy house of the village gah of present day Pakistan. He died at the age of 92. Throughout his life his humble nature remains visible in his personality. Wherever he went people found him pleasant and genial soul who is not obsessed with its cause but also has a soft corner for humanity. That is the reason many leaders are paying homage and tribute to the deceased soul.
Despite coming from poor and miserable family, he studied economics to eradicate poverty from the country, winning scholarships to attend two British prestigious universities- Cambridge where he first obtained economics, and Oxford, where he completed the doctorate.
He even worked in the senior civil service posts, rendering his services for common people to eliminate their economic difficulties and foster environment sustainable for people. For this he worked as a central governor bank and also held various jobs with global agencies such as the United Nations.
However, in his second term his prominence and popularity grew weaker due to global economic downfall and internal mistakes and crisis. Magnificent trailblazer performance turned into lackluster decline because of various factors. Hence, gave rise to landslide victory of modi in government.
